Living with adrenal fatigue can be extremely painful. Unfortunately, the western world seems to have normalized hormone imbalances in women. Our hormones are our body’s messengers they are responsible for all major functions in our body. When you experience hormone imbalance it usually affects more than one type of hormone in the body. Everything is intertwined and closely linked. Symptoms of adrenal fatigue can vary from excruciating pain during a period to serious weight gain, hot flashes and night sweats.
Common symptoms of adrenal fatigue:
Do you find yourself fatigued and energy deprived? Perhaps you are experiencing mood swings or severe PMS symptoms and what about hot flashes – are they driving you crazy? These are but some of the signs that could mean you have a looming adrenal fatigue diagnosis. Other common symptoms of adrenal fatigue include:
- Tender or lumpy breasts
- Night sweats
- Digestion problems
- Crazy cravings
- Depression, anxiety or irritability
- Low libido
- Excess belly fat
- Hot flashes
- Weight gain (hips,thighs and muffin-top)
- Brain Fog
- Joint pains
